NowALERT is a fantastic new mobile wireless package that provides a complete mobile communications solution.

The package combines the functions of our NowSMS/MMS gateway (Short Message Service/Multimedia Messaging Service gateways) and the NowIMP Server (Instant Messaging and Presence Server) with contact management allowing users to easily and efficiently manage their contacts whatever their application.

One advantage of this combination is the user’s ability to receive messages via the web or email and the use of Instant Messaging protocol of which features include the ability to communicate from PC to PC, Mobile to Mobile and PC to Mobile.  This would therefore provide users with an easy and flexible way of managing contact with their associates wherever their location and whatever their message type.

Users are able to see which of their contacts are available and what devise they are using.  There is a wide range of applications for this from simply using it to keep in contact with your friends or colleagues to assisting administrators in hospitals with the management of staff contact.
