They offer WDS (repeater & bridge mode), AP and AP Client mode that can boost the wireless coverage range and give the flexibility to set up extended Wi-Fi connections. It provides a high speed data rate of up to 54Mbps whilst providing seamless interoperability with existing 802.11b gears.
It is suitable for SOHO, SMB, and home users, and any open space such as Cafés, libraries, stations, bookstores, hospitals, airports, stadiums, museums, and shopping centres.
The VMA 11g provides high security with 64/128WEP encryption, WPA2, WPA, 802.1x, MAC address filtering, and advanced administration control. It is fully protected from hackers and malicious attacks.
M4.4140 - Mesh Access Point (MAP)
In a Mesh4G™ Enabled Architecture mobile broadband network, the Mesh Access Point is a device that acts as the transition point from the wireless network to the wired world. Each M4.4140 offers a maximum burst rate of up to 6 Mbps that can be used for voice, video and data communications.
If greater network capacity is required, additional Access Points can be easily deployed - without the need for extensive RF or site planning. The location of Mesh Access Points is non-critical due to the self-forming, self-healing and self-balancing nature of the Mesh4G™ network.
Access Points Also Provide:
Local network management of Wireless Routers and Client Devices
Fixed reference point for position location services
Mobility management
